  Jianghe Paper has long been committed to water and energy conservation. Guided by national plans, it aims to improve water efficiency and cut per-unit water consumption through tech and management innovation.
A water saving leading group was formed to strengthen management. The company has strict inspection, ledger, quota, and reward-penalty systems. It inspects water appliances regularly, analyzes equipment water use, conducts balance tests, and rewards water saving innovations.

Each paper making line has a white water sedimentation tank, with a wastewater reuse rate over 90%. The steam condensate recovery system saves water and cuts emissions, recycling 510,000 cubic meters of water a year. Other measures reduce fresh water intake by 375,000 cubic meters and steam by 28,800 tons annually.

Jianghe Paper has won many green honors since 2007, like ISO14001 certification and being a provincial water efficiency leader. Its subsidiary, Dazhi Machinery, won a green manufacturing bid in 2020.

With this success, Jianghe Paper will further implement sustainable development. It'll build on water saving achievements, innovate, and establish long-term mechanisms. The goal is to boost water use efficiency and overall benefits, drive green development, and set an example for the industry in building a sustainable society.
